Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-20

By using this site you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The tools are provided as-is

The tools and guides are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We try to follow the relevant RFCs and test against recorded real-world answers, but we cannot promise that a result is complete, current or free of errors.

Results depend on third parties

Lookups are answered by public DNS resolvers and RDAP servers that we do not control. They can be slow, unreachable, cached, filtered or wrong. A result shows what that resolver returned at that moment, not necessarily what every other resolver or mail server sees. DNS changes can take up to the record’s TTL to appear.

Not professional or legal advice

Guides and explanations are general technical information. They are not legal, security or compliance advice. Check changes to your DNS records before you publish them: a wrong SPF, DKIM or DMARC record can cause legitimate mail to be rejected.

Acceptable use

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using the site or relying on its results, including undelivered email or downtime caused by a DNS change.

Changes

We may change these terms or the site at any time. The date above shows the latest revision. See also the Privacy Policy.
